To all Vacation Bible School Teachers/Helpers:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart….. 

Thank you for your creativity, ingenuity and hours of labor to decorate the 5/F into a place of wonders! 

Thank you for the joy and delight that lit up our children’s faces when they walked in and saw a space/rocket station. 

Thank you for the smile on your face when you see children walk in the door. 

Thank you for remembering their names and asking for a high five. 

Thank you for the time you spent learning songs and stories, and having those simple words revolve in your head at all hours of the day or night. 

Thank you for buying supplies, organizing supplies, buying more supplies and distributing supplies.

Thank you for your tired cheek muscles and sore back at the end of each day. 

Jesus said, “’With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable shall we use for it?  It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth, yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.’” (Mark 4:30-32).

Thank you so much for all the seeds you planted all this past week. Do remember apostle Paul’s word to the church of Corinth, “I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.” (1 Cor. 3:6)

Our theme this year is Stellar: Shine Jesus’ Light! We will launch the children on a cosmic quest where they will have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets children on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun.
